Cook Community Awards are awarded annually to people in recognition of their outstanding contribution and selfless service in the community.

We’re delighted to announce to veteran volunteers of our club have been honoured with Cook Community Awards.

David Paget has been a significant proactive contributor and driving influence behind Lilli Pilli Football Club over much of the past 3 decades. Dave, at a young age took up coaching and began leading junior teams to success.
Dave also accepted growing responsibilities to help ensure the club operated smoothly on a week to week basis. This volunteerism grew over the past 20 years and has seen Dave lead, assist and quietly contribute to endless aspects of successfully running our community club. Dave has been a much loved teacher locally and countless adults and young adults in the Lilli Pilli area nominate Dave as a strong positive influence on their learning, on their enjoyment and participation in sport.
Dave’s achievements as a coach are endless having led many junior and adult teams through to local premierships and state championships. Dave has been on the Lilli Pilli Football Club Executive since 2004, is a Life Member and a recipient of the local Association’s Merit Award for his contribution to the community through sport.

Steve Willett has been a significant proactive contributor and driving influence behind Lilli Pilli Football Club over the past 15 years.
Steve has taken on, and succeeded, in numerous senior and critical positions at Lilli Pilli Football Club including Registrar, Club Secretary and has for some time been the Club’s Honorary Treasurer. This involves managing the receipt of all payments, all registrations, handling of all vendors, sponsors, expenses and the broader planning, forecasting and statutory obligations of our community club.
Steve is a key reason why Lilli Pilli Football is in a very strong and steady financial position and why the club continues to enjoy a solid reputation for it’s smoothly operations and it’s execution of initiatives.
In addition, Steve has taken on numerous volunteer assignments including the coaching and managing of teams, preparing and collating match results. Steve’s steady hands have been firmly on the wheel over several years steering and guiding the day-to-day execution and operation of the club.
