Happy New Year and Welcome to Season 2018!

In what promises to be a fantastic year for football at all levels, we’re excited to be welcoming new and returning players, parents and supporters of Lilli Pilli FC.
We’re already preparing for the 2018 season. We are a volunteer based club aiming to continue to operate as a well-run, innovative and supportive club. Players (female and male) of all ages and abilities are most welcome. We believe we can meet most players’ expectations – whether they are looking to compete at the highest club level available or for purely social or fitness reasons, all conducted in a supportive family orientated atmosphere.

What is happening at Lilli Pilli FC ?
With development approval gained late in 2017, we’re busy planning the significant renovation and extensions to Lilli Pilli Oval; we’re also looking forward to our first full year on the re-turfed and irrigated Lilli Pilli Oval and a full year of weekend carnivals of football on Glenn McGrath Oval (with its new extended BBQ and seating) and continued use of the great surface at Greenhills Skate Park.

We need more volunteers and we’d like to encourage people to put their hand up. There are large and small jobs in 2018 that are presently vacant. A few hours each week can go a long way to making a club like ours continue to flourish. Please watch the web and facebook for opportunities to nominate to help out.

Registrations are now open for 2018

Online registration has kicked off and it is the fastest and most effective method of registering new and returning players. Payment using a card can also be made online. Whilst we accept payments at the clubhouse during registration assistance sessions, we do encourage players and parents to pay online. We cover card related surcharges if registration is completed before cutoff dates.

As a returning player, your FFA number and password used to log into the FFA website will be the same as last year.
If you are a new player, you can create an account and obtain an FFA ID in a few minutes through this link.
If you have forgotten either your FFA number or password, you can retrieve it by following the instructions.

Photos may be needed

The entire registration process can be completed online, including payment and uploading of a photograph if required.
A new photograph is required for all U10 boys and girls, all U14 boys and girls, all U18 boys and girls and ALL NEW players U10 and above (plus all returning players whose photo is more than 3 years old).
You can upload a new photo online via the myfootballclub website, however please make sure it is a clear photo of your face, without glasses and hats.

Active Kids Rebate – NSW Government Active Kids Voucher Program

The NSW Government has launched a fantastic scheme that aims to encourage school age kids to play sport. We welcome parents wishing to use their Active Kids voucher to subsidize their 2018 registration fees.
Before 31st January, you can register at Lilli Pilli FC and indicate your intention to later provide a voucher code (these will be available via NSW Government after 31st January). During the registration process, before finalising your details you must select an ADDITIONAL ITEM during the PAYMENT SCREEN (where you also indicate whether you will be paying online or directly at the club).
When you select an ADDITIONAL ITEM during registration you must select the $100 Deferred Payment option. This effectively tells Lilli Pilli FC that in February you will advise us of the Active Kids Rebate voucher details you wish to apply to this registration. Please remember one voucher of $100 is available to parents/carers of each school aged child.

IF you are registering AFTER 31st January, an opportunity to directly input the NSW Active Kids Voucher details into the myfootball registration system will be offered.

Registration Assistance Sessions

We will also be conducting 3 REGISTRATION ASSISTANCE SESSIONS at the Lilli Pilli Oval club house for:

- Players or parents who don’t have access to an online computer; struggling with a step or two; or would simply prefer to complete the whole registration process in person.
- Have registered online but prefer to skip the payment step and pay in person at the club using cash, cheque or EFTPOS.
- New players or players playing in the Sutherland shire competition for the first time who will need to present a date-of-birth document (birth certificate, passport or driver’s licence) as well as proof of residency (parent’s driver’s licence for a child, rates notice, driver’s licence) for official sighting. Please note: A driver’s license must show the current address on the front.
- Players or parents who have questions regarding the season, who may not have access to a computer or who are struggling with a step or two are welcome to attend the registration sessions where computers will be available and committee members will be there to help

Registration Assistance Session Dates

The time and dates for these REGISTRATION ASSISTANCE SESSIONS at Lilli Pilli Oval clubhouse are:

Sunday 21st January 2018 from 4pm to 6pm
Wednesday 31st January 2018 from 4pm-6pm and
Saturday 3rd February 2018 from 6pm – 8pm (this may be the last opportunity to register for junior age groups (Under 7 through Under 18 boys and girls).
Following this date wait lists will be in play and placement cannot be guaranteed.

Registration Fees

Our registration fees incorporate various up-front non-refundable payments we have to make to FFA, FNSW and the Sutherland Association. We also throughout the season have to make match payments, referee fees and other obligatory operational and administration costs. The remainder is used to run the club as a ‘not for profit’ operation. Fees can be minimised by paying before cutoff deadlines. Lilli Pilli FC will absorb card surcharges for payments made online prior to cutoff. Late fees apply after cutoff dates.

Under 6s, U7s, U8s and U9s – $140 incl. GST
Under 10s and U11s – $160 incl. GST
Under 12s, U13s, U14s, U15s and U16s – $190 incl. GST
Under 18s – $210 incl. GST ($190 for students)
Under 21s – $260 incl. GST ($240 less for students)
All Age, Senior Women, O30s, O35s and O45s – $300 incl. GST

A family member discount of $75 applies to the 3rd 4th (and beyond) registration within an immediate family. This can be claimed online during the 3rd 4th and beyond registration within a family as an “Additional Item”.
A similar discount also applies as an “Additional Item” to Player Life Members and Life Members of the club.
The late fee for registration after our deadlines is $25 for junior players and $60 for senior players. Please register early to avoid these additional charges.

Late Registration/Cutoff Dates

As noted above, we may close several age groups, depending on numbers between Sunday 4th February and the selection trials that begin on Sunday 11th February.
Also, Saturday 17th February 2018 is the deadline for registration for Adult/All Age/Senior Women and O30, O35 and O45 age groups. Late fees will apply to late registrations.
Please note an incomplete team may not be graded by the Association and any latecomers may not be accepted into graded teams (particularly those seeking to play in a lower grade).
We also want to have as much time as possible to help organise teams, coaches, managers, equipment, training venues and so forth. Early registration helps and it avoid unnecessary costs and charges being imposed on the club (and passed on).

Pre-Season Gala Weekend

We will be hosting a full weekend of games on 24th/25th March.

For Saturday teams – SAT 24 MAR Gala Weekend @ 5Sports & Greenhills (all day)
For Sunday teams – SUN 25 MAR Gala Weekend @ 5Sports & Greenhills (all day)

Season Start

The 2018 Season will start immediately after Easter. Round 1 will be Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of April 2018. (Easter weekend is 31st March/1st April.

Reminders

Payment : Please remember Registrations are not complete until fees have been paid
New Players to Football in Sutherland Shire : New U6s and any player new to football in the Sutherland Shire must attend one of our assistance sessions and present birth certificate/passport and residency proof
Uniforms : The uniform shop will be open on each of the clubhouse registration days.
Coaching and Managing : If you are interested, links will be made available later in January for aspiring coaches and managers to apply. All appointments will be subject to review in February.
Insurance : Players are NOT covered by insurance until they are fully registered
Training : Through the portal for coach and manager applications, requests for training space will be made online this year.
