COOK COMMUNITY CLASSIC

Lilli Pilli FC is proud to begin an association with the IMB Cook Community Classic (CCC) in 2018.

The IMB CCC is a local fundraising event run by the Electorate office for the Federal seat of Cook. There are several activities run as part of the CCC, one of which is a raffle that enables local not-for-profits, sporting groups and other community organisations to raise essential funds for the community services that they provide.

Lilli Pilli FC is participating this year because we are about to embark on some essential fund raising to meet the costs of our Lilli Pilli Oval Building Upgrade (due to commence at the end of this season). Our upgrade to the facilities at Lilli Pilli Oval will dramatically modernise our operating facilities including a refurbished community room, provide upgraded home and visitor change rooms, a new modern canteen, significantly improved storage capabilities and most importantly, new modern public toilet facilities. This development represents the community investing in community assets for the current and future generations. The Sutherland Shire Council is contributing to the project to cover the costs of the public toilets. The remainder of the project will be funded by Lilli Pilli FC.

Everyone at Lilli Pilli FC (every player, their family and supporters and the wider community) will benefit from the building development. It is a high quality development that will provide essential facilities to club members now and into the future – be it a playing venue, a preseason registration and grading venue or our annual presentation day for junior players. Today’s 6 year olds will within a short period of time be enjoying this facility as teenagers.

We’re distributing books of tickets through Team Managers from Saturday 16th June and we would love your help buying and all selling the tickets. The price of a single ticket is $2 or $20 for the book of 10.

The prizes for the raffle are great and we’re also offering some addition prizes. Each ticket book sold will go into a club barrel and we’ll draw 5 winning teams/sellers who will each win a $200 voucher from Rebel Miranda.
