We’re planning on a full fun season of football and a big family picnic day to complete the non-competition season and a final series for all competition grades.

All the key information and links to help you register including our fees are available on the front page of our website www.lillipillifc.com

Uniforms: We’ve now seen many people complete their order online. We’ll also open the physical shop at LPO soon. Keep watching here for details.

Junior Team Selection: Selection trials will be conducted for most junior age groups next weekend. Important everyone attends selection and grading days. We are not only grouping players and forming teams .. we are also assessing grades too Please check day, location and times and we’d like players checking in around 20-30 minutes prior. If you want to practice a mix of skills exercises we’ll be drawing on at trials, please see the video we recently posted.

Gala Weekend: We have reserved fields (including 5sports) for the weekend prior to Easter (March 27/28) to play practice/trial games. Stay tuned for more details once we’ve finalised 2021 teams and player registrations.

2021 Season: Round 1 will be drawn on the weekend immediate AFTER Easter ie Saturday 10th April and Sunday 11th April.

Football ADVANCE: We will be running a 10 week skills programme on Monday nights at Lilli Pilli Oval for players Under 8 to 11 (boys and girls). There are two different sessions (split by age group). These are popular programmes run by highly accredited coaches engaged by the club. Jump in and register early at our online shop: https://lillipillifcofficial.teamapp.com/store?_list=v1

Goalkeeper Skills: For committed keepers (girls and boys) of all ages we have a 10 week programme. We will charge a nominal fee of $10 for the whole programme. We want to assist keepers develop and enjoy their position on the park. Many who have participated in these programmes have gone on to enjoy goalkeeping (in all grades) for several years.

In other news:

- We’ve entered the FFA Cup. Let’s see who/where we first play. Our first game is expected in March.
- We’ve entered Under 14 sides in Football NSW tournaments held in Bathurst in late February (boys) and early March (girls).
- Around the grounds we can see Council have been preparing and patching various fields in time for the Season. We can see Council has given the Jenola canteen a fresh coat of paint and we’ve been cleaning up around Lilli Pilli Oval.
- We’ve got a full roster and waitlisted for miniroo refs. We know many kids want to do this in coming years. We’ll capture interest later this year from all those who have missed out in 2021
- If you know a retired player or retired referee who is interested in refereeing competition age/grades please follow this link https://www.ssfra.org.au/single-post/2021/01/21/become-a-football-referee-in-2021

Thanks again to the hundreds and hundred of people who have registered early. It really helps us get organised.
